Medical Assurance Society advises on claims

The Medical Assurance Society – which provides insurance for many members of the legal profesison - is advising members that its Wellington office has already received a large number of claims, both domestic and business, from affected members.  Christchurch members who have been affected by the earthquake are urged to phone as soon as they can on 0800 800 MAS (627). Members have been advised that if they made a claim following September's earthquake and have suffered further damage this week, it's especially important that they contact MAS as soon as possible so that it can obtain up-to-date information and provide the appropriate assistance.
