The Christchurch earthquake, our staff and office, and legal inquiries

Like all New Zealanders, the New Zealand Law Society is shocked at the news of the latest major earthquake in the Christchurch area.

We are seeking news about our Christchurch branch staff and their families and our thoughts are with them.

Anyone in the rest of New Zealand who has an urgent legal matter which involves the earthquake-affected area may ring the New Zealand Law Society’s national office in Wellington on 04 472 7837 and we will endeavour to provide assistance.
