AGM

The AGM will be held on Tuesday 23 March 2010 at 5.30pm at the Law Society branch office.

Meet the Judiciary

This function will be held on Wednesday 24 March 2010.

All new practitioners are invited to attend (those with less than 7 years' practice post-admission experience).

Flying Start

The Flying Start courses will be held at the Hamilton branch office on 6 and 13 March and 7 and 14 August. Please complete the form to enrol.

New service for lawyers

A new website will assist lawyers seeking information on people who have died and the relatives surviving them. The site – www.amemorytree.co.nz – has more than 73,000 listings, including all the newspaper death notices published in New Zealand daily papers since March 2007. It has a publicly accessible search facility and can offer lawyers a number of services, including an alert service.
