Christchurch Family Lawyers to meet

Canterbury family lawyers are being invited to a meeting in Christchurch on 4 March which will update them on Family Court services which are operating and provide an opportunity for the lawyers to meet and support one another. The meeting will be held at 3:00pm at the Copthorne Commodore Airport Hotel, 449 Memorial Avenue, Christchurch.

The Law Society’s Family Law Section will provide food and light refreshments and will warmly welcome all Canterbury family lawyers who may like to attend. Christchurch Family Court Manager Sally Croy will attend the meeting, and there is a hope that some Christchurch judges may also be present.

The meeting has been organised by Family Law Section executive member Garry Collin, and lawyers who receive information on the meeting are being asked to phone colleagues and ensure they are aware of the time and venue.
