Free CLE sessions for Christchurch practitioners

NZLS CLE Ltd has organised two free sessions for Christchurch practitioners to assist them with responding to legal issues raised by the earthquake. The sessions are designed to be a question and answer forum where participants can raise and discuss issues facing them. Attend either session or both. Questions emailed in advance to CLE@lawyerseducation.co.nz are welcome.

The sessions will be held on Tuesday 22 March from 1:30pm to 7:00pm at Peppers Clearwater Resort, Clearwater Avenue, Harewood. Phone 0800 275 373 or 03 360 1000.

Session 1: Redundancy will run from 1:30 to 3:30pm. It will be presented by John Rooney (Simpson Grierson, Auckland), Helen White (barrister, Auckland) and a local practitioner.

Session 2: Commercial leases will run from 4:00 to 6:00pm. It will be presented by Ish Fraser (Kensington Swan, Wellington), John Greenwood (Greenwood Roche Chisnall, Wellington) and a local practitioner.
