Immigration inquiries and arrangements

The Christchurch branch of Immigration New Zealand is closed until further notice. Anyone who would normally apply to the Christchurch branch should now apply to the Northern Documentation Branch, PO Box 76895, Auckland Mail Centre, Auckland 2241 (phone 0508 558 855). Immigration New Zealand has advised that people who had passports in their Christchurch office at the time of the earthquake can ring 0508 558 855 if they need them urgently.

INZ staff will be attending the welfare centres in Christchurch to answer immigration queries on Thursday 3 March and Friday 4 March. They will visit Rangiora Baptist Church (9:00am to 11:00am), Burnside High School (9:00am to 2:00pm) and Pioneer Stadium (11:00am to 2:00pm) on both days.
