Notice of temporary closure

Pursuant to Rule 3.4 of the High Court Rules, I order that the Christchurch High Court and its registries are shut for the remaineder of today 13 June 2011 and for 14 June 2011. Becuase of today's earthquakes it is necessary to temporarily shut the Court to allow a check of buildings in which registry functions and Court hearings have been taking place to ensure they are structurally sound.
