Library staff in Christchurch have relocated to a temporary site at 8 Homersham Place, Burnside (off Roydvale Avenue). There is still no word on how long it will be before we can return to the library in the Courts building in Durham Street.
A computer is available at Level 1, 8 Homersham Place for practitioners to search the Library’s electronic collection. This is a comprehensive collection of LexisNexis, Thomson Reuters and CCH databases offering case law and commentary on all areas of New Zealand law as well as Australian, Canadian and United Kingdom material.
As well as several replacement loose-leaf services provided by legal publishers, we have been able to retrieve a number of loose-leaf volumes as well as several boxes of books from our collection in the Courts building. To check if a title is available search the Library’s online catalogue. If available, the shelf location will display as "Homersham Place". If you require material which is still inaccessible, let us know and we should be able to source it for you. We are also purchasing any new editions published. Document delivery and research services are available as usual.
