The NZLS Library books and journals are on an internet catalogue that is free and easily accessible from our website. Go to http://www.lawsocietylibrary.org.nz/catalogue/ to look at it. This catalogue is much more comprehensive that the previous LINX catalogue.
The catalogue contains not only records of all the texts in the Auckland, Canterbury and Wellington libraries, but also all of the journals and law report series. We are adding more to it too as we check to make sure that all of the older materials in the libraries, including encyclopedias and 19th century books are added. The books from Otago and Whangarei libraries are also being added to the catalogue. Finally we have catalogued all the electronic resources we have in the main and branch libraries.
If you are looking for recent issues of a journal or law report, you can use the catalogue to check and see which library has received which issue and when. You should bookmark the catalogue so that you can check to see if we have what you are interested in before you leave your office or email us.
There will be training sessions for the new branch library computers on Wednesday 14 September and Tuesday 20 September in the Wellington High Court library at 5.30 pm. To book for one of the two training sessions please go to http://bookwhen.com/nzlslibrary
