Bilingual Laws Information System (BLIS)
BLIS is a searchable electronic database of legislation maintained by the Department of Justice of the HKSARG. Coverage includes;
- Legislation - Consolidated Ordinaces and Regulations which can be browsed according to Chapter Number or searched. Users can access the current and historical vesions.
- Glossary - English-Chinese dictionary of Chinese legal terms.
- English Subject Index to Ordinances - Lists and links to applicable laws by subject.
Treaties & agreements
Lists all multi-lateral treaties and bilateral agreements entered into by HKSAR.
Legislative Council
Provides full text access to Legislative Proposals including;
- Bills - full text access to Bills currently before the council and recently passed. Also provides reading dates in order to track the Bill's prgoress.
- Subsidiary Legislation - includes proclamations, rules, regulations, orders, resolutions, notices, rules of court, bylaws and any other instrument having legislative effect. Browseable by year, the site also provides information on the legislative process.
- Other Instruments Containing Legislative Proposals - codes of practice and technical memoranda and other instruments that are vetted by the Council.
The Basic Law
The Basic Law is the constitutional document of the Hong Kong SAR. It outlines the plan for HKSAR's legal development since becoming a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.

This site includes decisions from various courts, most dating from the 1990's. Coverage includes, the Court of Final Appeal, Court of Appeal, Court of First Instance, District, Family and Lands Court.
Judgments and Legal Reference
Official website of the Judiciary of the Hong Kong SAR it contains full text copies of significant decisions concerning points of law or court practice and procedure. Normally cases are posted within 72 hours of being delivered, significant cases or cases or great public interest are posted on the same day as they are delivered. Cases can be browsed or searched according to case number. Coverage includes;
- Court of Final Appeal - organised according to final appeals for civil and criminal matters and civil and criminal miscellaneous proceedings.
- Court of Appeal of the High Court - includes, applications for review, civil and criminal appeals and reservations of questions of law.
- High Court - organised according to topic.
- District Court - organised according to topic.
- Family Court - includes adoption applications, matrimonial causes and miscellaneous cases.
- Lands Tribunal - organised according to topic.
- Miscellaneous - includes various magistrates and tribunals cases
Government
Legislative Council
Site established for the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. Contains committee reports, legislative proposals, policy papers and library research papers.
Government Information Centre
Central governmental site of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. Provides access to news updates and speeches, government related organisations, consultation papers and statistics and an A-Z index.
