Most of the revised statutes and regulations on this site are not up to date.  The website advises the date to which the statutes and regulations are current to.  All statutes enacted, amended or repealed since 1992 are provided for noting up purposes.

Bills, Regulations, Orders in Council and Bulletins are available from this site under Legislation. Access to Hansard is also available.

Caselaw

British Columbia Superior Courts
The Court of Appeal and Supreme Court are hosted on this site. Each Court page provides a Reasons for Judgment database dating to 1996, Rules of Court and practice directions, the empowering legislation, and general information regarding the Court. The site also hosts a Legal Compendium which gives an overview of the law of BC regarding the legal system, constitutional freedoms, and criminal procedure.

Provincial Court of British Columbia
Information about the jurisdiction of the Court, a selective judgments database, Rules of Court, and a contacts list.

Canlii (Canadian Legal Information Institute)
Access to cases from the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of British Columbia and Provincial Court of British Columbia. Can be searched or browsed by style of cause or date of judgment.

Law Society of British Columbia
A self-governing association of all the practising lawyers in BC. This site provides information about the role of the Law Society, the Law Society Rules and Professional Conduct Handbook, contacts for the Law Society etc.

Canadian Bar Association - British Columbia
The Canadian Bar Association is a nation-wide organization which is devoted to promoting the interests of the profession, advocating law reform, and providing legal services to the public. The BC site provides a legal referral service and legal information by topic for the public.
