SAFLII provides full text access to South African legislation and case law from the Constitutional Court, Supreme Court of Appeal, East Cape High Court and Land Claims Court. The site also provides links to legal and government sites of other Southern African countries. This site is a prototype and is under construction.

Labour Courts of South Africa
Hosted by Wits Law School, access to decisions of the Labour Court and Labour Appeal Courts from 1998 - 2001. Indexed by party, number and judgment date. This is not a complete database of decisions.
Land Claims Court of South Africa
Official homepage of the Land Claims Court, hosted by Wits Law School. Judgments of the Court since its 1996 inception. Judgments can be browsed according to year or searched. Also provides Court information, relevant legislation, and rules and practice directions.
Supreme Court of Appeal of South Africa
Official homepage of the Supreme Court of Appeal hosted by Wits Law School. Judgments since 1999 are available which can be browsed according to year or searched. Information about the court and contact details are also provided.
Constitutional Court of South Africa
Official homepage of the Constitutional Court hosted by Wits Law School. Provides access to all decisions of the Court since 1995 which can be browsed according to year or searched. The site also provides Court rules and information and a discussion of the Court's jurisdiction.

Parliamentary Monitoring Group

South African Human Rights Commission
Established in 1994. Contains full text publications, annual reports and policy documents. Provides information on how to lodge a complaint.
Truth and Reconciliation Commission
Legal documents relating to the creation and running of the TRC. Materials from the amnesty, human rights violations, reparation and rehabilitation Committees, and the transcripts from public debates.

Published in 2002 this paper provides an overview of the South African legal system and links to government sources and caselaw.

Department of Foreign Affairs
Provides information on bilateral and multilateral treaties signed by South Africa. Does not provide the full text of the agreements but does give some information about the provisions and the background of the treaty.
South African Cyber Treaty Series
An unofficial site which lists and provides some full text copies of the multilateral treaties signed by South Africa. The list is not complete and is updated on a regular basis. The list is mainly based on the United Nations Multilateral Treaties Deposited with the Secretary-General, and is arranged according to the categories found in the United Nations Treaty Series.
