  • General Practice firm – established portfolio to look after
  • 14-month contract
  • Tired of waiting for change where you are?

Our client’s practice has been operating in Wellington for over 20 years, and they pride themselves on their high standards, long term client portfolio, settled team and more business than they can manage.

A key staff member is taking maternity leave and they need someone to cover this well-established portfolio of work as well as help support the business while another person is taking a holiday.  Their business looks after the following areas:

  • Conveyancing
  • Relationship Property
  • Trusts
  • Business Acquisitions and Sales
  • Leasing
  • Wills
  • Estates

We know it’s tricky to consider a fixed term contract but if you were willing to consider it, this firm is worth taking the chance for.  Preferred applicants will ideally have the following:

  • Experience some or most of the aforementioned legal areas
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to relate to a variety of clients
  • Strong interest in building solid relationships

This is an opportunity for a lawyer that is considering their long term goals. While the firm is small, you will get variety and they will teach. You can continue to learn and grow while covering a maternity leave contract.

If you have been curious about a move and a 14-month contract can be seen as a change that doesn’t tie you down, this could be just the opportunity you have been waiting for.

Curious? We’d love to tell you more!  Call Anita Murdoch on 04 901 6444 for a confidential discussion or submit your CV and a covering note to telling us why the role is of interest to you.
