The Management Committee of the Special Fund is made up of two NZ Law Society appointees and one NZ Society of Conveyancers appointee (usually their president).
The Management Committee has the function of managing the Special Fund on behalf of the New Zealand Law Society and the New Zealand Society of Conveyancers. This involves:
- Appointing an auditor;
- Reviewing and approving annual accounts; and
- Approving expenditure.
The Management Committee meets once a year.
