We have a great opportunity within the Projects and Transactions team of Legal Services for an intermediate commercial property lawyer to work on development and infrastructure projects.

The team supports all property, development, infrastructure and transactional work of Council and key subsidiaries, ranging from business-as-usual acquisition and disposals, to infrastructure and significant transactional project work. Driving value through effective contract management, efficient use of assets, and collaborating on delivery partnerships with private sector and Government is an important part of our role.

You will be able to work closely with the other lawyers in Legal Services (including corporate, public law, litigation and enforcement), and with elected members and a wide range of business units and managers at all levels of the organisation.

He kōrero mōu: About you

Relevant experience in areas such as commercial property developments, infrastructure or multidisciplinary projects preferred. This is a new role covering a variety of disciplines but has at its core property and developments. You will need to enjoy an agile approach to your practice and bring strong relationship development skills. The salary is market competitive, and we can also accommodate flexible working requirements.
