Russell McVeagh has promoted two lawyers to senior associate.

Hamish Beckett is a member of the Auckland corporate advisory team.

He joined the firm in 2013 and specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, overseas investment, joint venture arrangements and a broad range of commercial contracts and general corporate matters.

Rachel O’Brien is a member of the Auckland litigation team and recently returned to the firm after working in London and the Middle East.

She specialises in intellectual property, data protection and privacy law.
