Wellington High Court Library closed temporarily

Due to the earthquake last week, the Wellington Library is closed until further notice. Inspection of the floors and foundations is required, which has meant that all the books have needed to be moved to storage in Porirua. Unfortunately the earthquake activated the sprinkler system in the library and some of the books are damaged. Library staff will be checking and sorting through these books for drying, repair or disposal.

Next week Wellington library staff will relocate temporarily to the National Office building in Waring Taylor St, and will be available to handle research requests at the end of the week.

Due to our reduced capacity for research, you may not receive your results as promptly as you have in the past, so please request research well in advance of your deadline.
