Intermediate Criminal Lawyer-Wellington

Cuba Family Law Limited is seeking an intermediate criminal lawyer to join our team.  The successful candidate would be someone who has:

  • legal aid provider status PAL1 or above
  • at least 2 years PQE experience
  • Court room advocacy experience
  • ability to manage a busy case load
  • their own caseload to bring to the firm
  • experience or an interest in training and supervising junior lawyers

We are a busy central Wellington practice which is committed to providing access to justice. We take on a range legal aid of legal aid work as well as private clients.

The majority of our work is in family law, so some experience in this area would be ideal.  However, we have significant experience in family law and are able to provide mentoring and support for you to develop a practice in family law.

Cuba Family Law Limited undertakes the full range of family law work including parenting, surrogacy, international adoption, and relationship property work.  We are the authors of the Adult Relationships section in Westlaw.

We offer a supportive team environment with formal supervision provided. Flexible working hours are an option we are willing to offer.
