Maree Hayes awarded Public Service Medal
Invercargill Court Services Manager, Maree Hayes, has received the New Zealand Public Service Medal, recognising her commitment to public service.
Maree has worked for the Invercargill High and District Courts for 43 years. In that time, she was part of the foundation committee for ‘The Right Track’ – an educational initiative targeting young people and repeat offenders, which she also introduced to Southland.
The Public Service Medal is awarded to public servants who have given meritorious service and was established by the Royal Warrant in 2018.
