ACC to broaden Research Ethics Committee

This article is over 3 years old. More recent information on this subject may exist.

ACC says it wants to broaden the scope of its current ACC Research Ethics Committee, to reflect the large increase in non-research projects that need ethical consideration.

It says it is looking for up to five external members (who do not work for ACC) who have a strong interest in ethical principles.

ACC says its research initiatives cover injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation services, and customer feedback. They also include customer experience, and implementing new technologies including advanced analytics. It says it needs to ensure these projects are ethically sound.

Potential applicants are asked to complete an expression of interest form and return it before 6 December 2018.
