The Australasian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA) and McLeod Duminy are carrying out a Legal Industry Salary & HR issues Survey for 2020.

They say participation is free and open to all New Zealand law firms. Firms which participate will receive a free copy of the final report, which will otherwise be available for purchase for $2,200 plus GST.

The survey closes on 14 February 2020 and release of data is expected on 16 March 2020. Further information on how to participate is available here.

The objective of the survey is to provide a comprehensive, independent data review of actual salaries paid for over 55 legal, management and support roles within New Zealand law firms. These are analysed by region and size of firm. The 2019 survey attracted responses from 100 New Zealand law firms, employing 2,741 people.
