The Government's cybersecurity agency CERT NZ says it has launched a new information and advice section for businesses.

It says the new section includes new content such as business basics, practical guides and a risk assessment.

"Over 40% of the reports we receive at CERT NZ are about businesses. We’ve used the information about these incidents to develop a dedicated business section on our website," CERT NZ says.

"Our reports show that businesses are vulnerable to cyber security risks, which can impact their finances, customers, reputation and day-to-day operations. The new section provides more information and actionable advice to help businesses mitigate and stay resilient to these risks."
