The finalists for the 2019 New Zealand Law Awards, being held in Auckland in November, have been announced.

The glamorous event is held at the Cordis Hotel, 83 Symonds St, Auckland on Thursday 21 November, and is compered by comedian Urzila Carson with a guest appearance by 8-piece soul/funk band the Hipstamatics.

The awards are presented and managed by Australian-owned niche publishing company Key Media.

Criteria is that the work must have been completed and services provided in the year to 31 March 2019.

The awards cover firms, lawyers, in-house departments, banks and accountancy firms based in or working predominantly in New Zealand.
