Prices for legal services rose by 6.4% between the December 2018 and December 2019 quarters, Statistics New Zealand's producer's price index shows.

The index for legal services prices between the September 2019 and December 2019 quarters rose by 0.8%. This compares with a rise of 0.1% between the same quarters in 2018.

Prices for accounting services rose by 3.0% between the December 2018 and December 2019 quarters and by 0.1% between the September 2019 and December 2019 quarters.
