MBIE opens payroll remediation to former staff

This article is over 3 years old. More recent information on this subject may exist.

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment says it has remediated its current staff for historic payroll issues and is now turning its attention to affected former staff.

MBIE says people who were employed by it or one of its legacy agencies between 21 August 2008 and 27 June 2018 may be affected by the payroll remediation issues.

The issues relate to entitlements under the Holidays Act 2003.

MBIE says former employees who may be affected should complete a contact form and it will be in touch once it has validated details.

People who want to lodge a claim on behalf of a deceased person or someone for whom they hold a power of attorney will need to provide documentation to verify their identity and to confirm they are authorised to act on behalf of the estate or person.
