A memorial sitting will be held in Wellington on 6 December for the Rt Hon Sir Thomas Eichelbaum.

Sir Thomas, who was Chief Justice of New Zealand from 1989 to 1999, died on 31 October.

The memorial sitting will be held in the Old High Court, No 1 ceremonial court (Stout Street Entrance) at 3:00pm. The sitting will be followed by refreshments.
