John James Dashwood Strettell, retired District Court Judge, has been appointed to be an Acting District Court Judge.

A New Zealand Gazette notice says Judge Strettell has been appointed for a term of one year commencing on 6 October 2018.

Judge Strettel has also been appointed to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Court during his appointment.
