Five new Legal Counsel roles have been established in the team led by Legal & Commercial Manager, Jessica Easton.

Bridget Bailey is a resource management and local government lawyer with over 12 years’ experience and joins the Bay of Plenty Regional Council from private practice firms.

Monique Brooks specialises in commercial law, and joins Council from a private practice background at both national and local firms.

Rachel Boyte specialises in resource management, and joins Council from a private practice background with a local government focus.

Jodi Ellmers specialises in commercial law, and joins Council with over 13 years’ experience from a private practice and in-house legal background.

Ben Easte is a commercial lawyer and joins the Council from Auckland Transport.
