Bell Gully says it has appointed two special counsel and five new senior associates. Special counsel is a new position within the firm and Bell Gully says it recognises long serving, highly respected practitioners in the firm who demonstrate outstanding legal skills and have built reputations as trusted advisors to clients in their specialist areas of expertise.

Brendan Cash has been appointed special counsel from senior associate. He has 17 years' experience at Bell Gully and Ashurst in London. Brendan is a commercial litigator with particular expertise in construction litigation.

Liz Lim has been appointed special counsel from senior associate. She has 18 years' experience as a banking and finance lawyer, with 16 years spent with Bell Gully. Liz is an advisor to a number of New Zealand organisations and clients of the firm.

Natasha Garvan has been appointed senior associate. Natasha specialises in environmental and resource management law.
