Debra Angus has joined Wellington’s Lambton Chambers as a barrister sole.

Debra has a wide range of experience in public, parliamentary and constitutional law, as well as maritime, regulatory, health and safety and public finance issues.

She was the Deputy Clerk of the House until 2015, a Legislative Counsel in the Office of the Clerk and adviser to the Privileges Committee and the Regulations Review Committee. Debra has been a Crown Counsel and worked with a range of public sector agencies.

Currently, Debra also assists with international development projects for effective governance in democracy strengthening and public finance reforms in the South Pacific and Eurasia regions.
