Wellington specialist employment firm Dundas Street Employment Lawyers has announced a number of appointments.

David Traylor has been appointed partner. Admitted as a barrister and solicitor in November 2006,

David joined the firm in 2014 as a senor associate.

He had previously worked as a specialist employment lawyer at MinterEllisonRuddWatts and then at the Treasury Solicitor’s Department in the United Kingdom.

David has significant experience in all aspects of employment law but the focus of his practice has been within the public sector. He has also developed a particular expertise in running employment investigations.

Alastair Espie has been promoted to senior associate.

Alastair joined Dundas Street in 2016 after nearly seven years with another boutique employment law firm in Wellington.

He is a specialist employment lawyer, experienced in advising and representing clients on a wide range of issues, including litigation and collective bargaining advocacy.

Jack Rainbow has joined the firm as a solicitor.

Jack graduated from Victoria University in 2017 and worked at a nother Wellington boutique firm specialising in Māori land claims.

He decided to speicalise in employment law after developing a strong interest in it while volunteering at the Community Law Centre.
