Simpson Grierson has appointed former ministerial policy advisor Mark Baker-Jones to lead its climate change practice as a special counsel.

Mark has worked extensively as a climate change policy advisor both here and in Australia, and most recently as an advisor to Climate Change Minister James Shaw.

As well as climate change policy development he has worked as a special counsel at DLA Piper and a partner at DibbsBarker (now Dentons). He has also held academic positions at the University of Queensland.
