Christchurch firm Mortlock McCormack Law has promoted Chris Egden and Emily Flaszynski to Senior Associate on 1 April.

Admitted in 2006, Chris Egden joined Mortlock McCormack Law as an Associate in November 2015, having previously worked in the Land Acquisition Team at the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (CERA). Chris is particularly experienced in complex property related matters, with a strong background in residential and commercial subdivisions. Chris also acts for a number of landlords and tenants in relation to commercial leasing matters.

Admitted in 1998, Emily Flaszynski joined Mortlock McCormack Law as an Associate in March 2020. Emily specialises in relationship property, asset protection and dispute resolution. Emily has strong background in family law and commercial and civil litigation and is well versed in earthquake insurance claims and has been involved in various class actions. Emily is also a member of the Canterbury Earthquake Insurance Tribunal.
