Ginny Coubrough.
Ginny Coubrough has joined the Retirement Villages team in Auckland as a senior associate.
Ginny was admitted in May 1995 after graduating LLB from Waikato University.
She has extensive corporate, commercial and regulatory experience accumulated through time spent in an international law firm in London, a Crown entity, and as in-house counsel.
Gwen Drewitt.
Gwen Drewitt has joined the firm’s Christchurch office Employment team as a senior associate.
Gwen has an LLB(Hons) from Cardiff University and was admitted in 2009 in England and Wales and in 2013 in New Zealand.
She has worked in employment law in New Zealand and the UK for a number of years representing clients from a range of industries including retail, tourism, manufacturing, fishing, construction and the public sector.
Marnie Blank.
Marnie Blank has joined the Trust and Assets team in Auckland as an associate.
After completing an LLB and Diploma of Management at Auckland University Marnie was admitted in 2005.
She specialises in trusts and asset protection planning. Her area of practice is enhanced by her broad background in property, commercial and family law.
Helen Chen.
Helen Chen has joined the Corporate Advisory team in Auckland as a solicitor.
Helen has law and arts degrees from the University of Auckland and was admitted in September 2016.
She advises on a range of corporate and commercial law matters including mergers and acquisitions, divestments, capital raising matters and commercial contracts.
Kate Vilsbaek.
Kate Vilsbaek has joined the litigation team in Christchurch as a solicitor.
After graduating with BA and LLB degrees from the University of Canterbury Kate was admitted in 2015 and spent time in London where she gained experience in forensic investigation and intervention at a top UK firm.
Marin Surgenor.
Marin Surgenor has been promoted to an associate in the Auckland property team.
Marin was admitted in 2013 and has BCom, LLB and LLM(Hons) degrees.
He joined the firm in 2013 and has experience across a range of property matters, including commercial acquisitions and dispositions, leasing and due diligence investigations.
