Angeline Boniface has joined Walker Street Chambers, following a number of years as a partner at Cameron and Company. She specialises in family law and employment law matters, with 27 years’ experience. Angeline is trained in collaborative practice. She is also an experienced lawyer for children.

Rebecca Murphy joins Walker Street Chambers as a Barrister Sole, with over 20 years’ experience in family law including undertaking work as Lawyer for Child. Rebecca is on the Legal Assistance Panel for the Royal Commission into Abuse in Care and is also an instructor with the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. Rebecca has previously worked as a supervisor of the family law team at Community Law Canterbury. Prior to that, she was an Associate at Geddes and Maciaszek (now Maciaszek Brown).

Kris Bucher

Kris Bucher graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2017 with LLB(Hons) and BA degrees. After working as a Judges’ Clerk in the Christchurch District Court for two years, Kris joined the Public Defence Service in Christchurch as a junior lawyer and worked there for 18 months. Kris joins Walker Street chambers as an employed barrister and PAL1 criminal legal aid provider.
