Tauranga firm Cooney Lees Morgan has made several promotions

Alesha Evetts has become a senior associate. Alesha specialises in all aspects of family law.  Much of Alesha’s work involves property divisions involving trusts, partnerships and companies, along with clients wanting to protect their personal assets when entering their second relationship.

Alyson Hendren is promoted to associate. Alyson works in the corporate and commercial team with her areas of expertise being capital raising, contract and licensing along with mergers and acquisitions.

Tania Waikato has become an associate. Tania works in the litigation and local government team. She has a broad base of experience working with local businesses, councils and other organisations across a range of industries in both New Zealand and Australia.

Jeff Stringer is now an associate. Jeff’s practice includes advising private clients around creating and maintaining appropriate legal arrangements to help them plan for the future.  This includes trust reviews, trust formations and administration, estate planning, powers of attorney and related property matters.

Ashleigh Fletcher has become a senior solicitor. Ashleigh is a member of the corporate and commercial team.  Her areas of expertise is mergers and acquisitions, general contracting and the provision of regulatory compliance advice.

Colleen Bain has been promoted to senior solicitor. Colleen works in the corporate and commercial team where she advises on a variety of commercial law areas including capital raising, contracting & licensing, privacy, financing, technology, agribusiness and incorporated societies.

Mallory Schofield has become a senior solicitor. Before moving to Tauranga, Mallory worked in two well established and highly regarded law firms in Auckland practicing in the areas of civil litigation, employment and criminal prosecutions. Mallory joined Cooney Lees Morgan in 2018 and works in the litigation and local government team.

Nicola King is now a senior solicitor. Nicola joined Cooney Lees Morgan in 2017 and works in the property and development team. Her work predominantly involves commercial property transactions and developments, residential property and private client work, and subdivisions of all sizes.

Rachel van Rossen is promoted to senior solicitor. Rachel works in the private client and trust team. Her areas of expertise lie in asset protection, wills and estate administration, kiwifruit, retirement villages, trust and local government.
