Pippa Hayward appointed NZ Sports Tribunal member

Pippa Hayward, a NZLS Auckland Young Lawyers Committee member has been appointed to the NZ Sports Tribunal.

At the same time, Alan Galbraith QC is retiring.

The tribunal includes Hon Sir Bruce Robertson KNZM (Chairman), Dr Jim Farmer QC, recently retired High Court Judge Hon Nick Davidson QC, former Black Cap Robert Hart, former Silver Ferns coach Ruth Aitken ONZM, double Olympic gold medalist Georgina Earl ONZM (formerly Georgina Evers-Swindell), Disability Commissioner Paula Tesoriero MNZM, and orthapaedic surgeon Dr Helen Tobin.

Pippa is currently working as a Crown Prosecutor at Meredith Connell, has extensive knowledge and involvement as an international sports woman and Olympian during her time playing for NZ as a women’s Black Stick.
