Victoria University of Wellington Law Professor Susy Frankel has been inducted as a Fellow of the Royal Society Te Apārangi.

The induction recognises her role as an international research leader in international intellectual property law and its links with international trade.

Her scholarship has influenced the development of New Zealand’s intellectual property law and the interpretation of international agreements in the formation of domestic policy.

Professor Frankel is one of 20 Fellows inducted as part of the Royal Society Te Apārangi‘s Academy Centenary.
