Minister of Health, Dr David Clarke, has reappointed Susan Hughes QC to the Medical Council of New Zealand as a lay member.
A New Plymouth-based barrister, Susan is currently deputy chair of the council. She left New Plymouth firm Govett Quilliam in 2006 to practise at the Bar. Her experience spans broad based litigation across the diverse jurisdictions of the courts.
Susan’s reappointment is for a two-year term.
