Tompkins Wake has promoted three legal specialists in its Auckland, Hamilton and Rotorua offices.

Becky Brown has been promoted to senior associate.

With BMS and LLB(Hons) degrees from the University of Waikato, Beck has been practising law since 2010 and joined Tompkins Wake in 2015.

She specialises in dispute resolution and civil litigation, with her particular areas of expertise including insolvency litigation, contractual disputes, insurance-related litigation, and debt recovery.

Christine Gavin has been promoted to associate.

Christine is a registered legal executive specialising in property related transactions with expertise in subdivisions.

Her skills have been recognised by many practitioners outside the firm and she provides advice occasionally to other firms on the practical management of land registration issues.

Carlo Wan has been promoted to associate. Carlo has DipBus and BBus qualifications from Auckland University of Technology and an LLB from the University of Auckland.

He is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese and is a China law specialist and commercial lawyer.

Carlo has a particular focus on business acquisitions, corporate structuring, commercial contracts and various corporate governance matters.
