Trollope & Co Lawyers has merged with Maurice Walker.

Maurice Walker moved from GCA Lawyers on 1 April 2019 and has merged his practice with Tim Trollope. The new firm will be called Trollope & Co Lawyers Incorporating Maurice Walker.

Maurice has 46 years’ experience as a commercial, company, trust and property lawyer and has particular expertise and experience in franchising.

Heather Murdoch moved from the Office of the Ombudsman to join the firm as a senior associate and has joined the firm's dispute resolution team.

Admitted in 1987, she has worked as a Judges’ Clerk at the High Court, in private practice, as a professional legal training instructor and co-owner of a private legal training company, at the Office of the Ombudsman and as an associate in private practice in the litigation team..

Heather is accredited as an Associate Member of the Arbitrators’ and Mediators’ Institute of New Zealand.

Julie Hawthorn have moved from GCA Lawyers to join the firm’s commercial, company, trust and property law team as a senior solicitor.

She was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in 2004 and has experience and expertise in relationship property matters.

Julie is a trustee of the Friends of Madagascar New Zealand Trust.
