Two new partners have been announced at Auckland litigation specialist firm LeeSalmonLong.

Rachel Keane
Rachel Keane

Rachel Keane specialises in litigation and dispute resolution, with recent experience in product liability claims, shareholder disputes and claims for breach of professional duty.

She also has expertise in arbitrations, with a specialist practice in contentious rent reviews. Rachel began her career in 2001 at a leading national firm, followed by seven years in the financial services litigation team of a major international firm in Hong Kong. She joined LeeSalmonLong in 2016 following a stint in-house, establishing the local legal and compliance function for an international insurance broker.

Daniel Nilsson

Daniel Nilsson has been with the firm since 2007.

He has an extensive practice in general commercial litigation, with a particular focus on consumer protection legislation, intellectual property and competition law. He has also has considerable experience acting in media law and defamation matters for media organisations and individuals. Daniel regularly appears in superior courts, both as principal counsel and to support members of the senior bar.
