Regulations notified: 2 to 8 March 2012

The following regulations were notified in the New Zealand Gazette published on 8 March 2012:

Civil Aviation (Offences) Amendment Regulations 2012 (SR 2012/31)
Made pursuant to section 100 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990. In force on 5 April 2012. Amends Schedule 1 of the Civil Aviation (Offences) Regulations 2006, which prescribe the breaches of the Civil Aviation Rules that are summary offences and the breaches of those rules that are infringement offences, and prescribe the fines and infringement fees in respect of those offences.

KiwiSaver Amendment Regulations 2012 (SR 2012/32)
Made pursuant to section 228 of the KiwiSaver Act 2006. In force on 31 March 2012. Amend the KiwiSaver Regulations 2006 by inserting new regulations 5A and 5B, which set out the purpose of the new regulation on the requirements for the contents of an annual report and prescribe the information, statements, certificates, and documents that are required to be contained in the annual report or, if it is impractical for those materials to be contained in the annual report, be attached to the report (see regulation 4). Also insert a new Schedule 1A, which sets out details of the material prescribed by new regulation 5B.

Building (Building Code: Fire Safety and Signs) Amendment Regulations 2012 (SR 2012/33)
Made pursuant to section 400 of the Building Act 2004. In force 10 April 2012. Have the effect of amending the Building Code (which is contained in Schedule 1 of the Building Regulations 1992; although those regulations have been repealed for other purposes, Schedule 1 continues in force). The amendments relate to those clauses of the Building Code dealing with protection from fire (new clauses A3 and C1 to C6 of Schedule 1) and signs (new clause F8 of Schedule 1).
