Kenneth Dean and an overdue loan matter

Do not waste your time if you receive an email from someone pretending to be called Kenneth Dean and asking for help with collecting an overdue loan from Robert Otermat. This scam has been tried on Canadian lawyers, and now it is being tried on New Zealanders.

The worry is that this is one of the most literate communications sighted. Terrible English is a hallmark of email scams targeting lawyers, and any improvement may make it harder to discount a scam email at a glance.

Subject: overdue loan matter

My company is currently looking for a Law Firm that can assist us with the issue of an overdue loan of $467,000 that I had provided to a former business partner of mine Robert Otermat. If you or your firm can handle this matter,
get back to me at your earliest convenience so that I can provide detailed information and related documents on this issue.
