Wackrow Williams & Davies is a general practice law firm which specialises in Māori Legal Issues and Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We service a range of clients from individuals, families, trusts, small businesses, community organisations, iwi, hapū and whānau on a variety of matters including Māori Legal issues, Te Tiriti o Waitangi claims and settlement negotiations, Māori Land Law, Trusts, Buying and Selling Property, Lease Agreements, Wills & Estates, Relationship Property, Business & Employment Law, Dispute Resolution and Civil Litigation. The firm has a well-developed client base which continues to grow.

Following the appointment of one of our directors to the Māori Land Court bench, the firm is under fresh new leadership with an experienced team to rely on and provide you with support.

About you

  • Admitted to the NZ Bar with 2-5+ PQE in any of our practice areas.
  • A genuine interest in Māori Legal Issues and/or experience working at a general practice law firm.
  • A dedicated problem solver with excellent client-facing skills.
  • Compelling written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Pro-active and confident in your approach to your work.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.
