About the role

Recent growth in the firm has seen an expansion of its diverse, local and national client base. This growth has created the need for a full-time Civil Litigation Lawyer to join their Dispute Resolution and Local Government team.

In this role, you will be supported and mentored by an experienced and approachable Partner and Associate, whilst enjoying the support of a wider collegial and collaborative team.  This role will best suit a solicitor with between 2 and 4 years’ PQE with experience in civil and general litigation.  You will be able to work autonomously with good support and have a desire to mentor more junior members of the team.

What we’re looking for

• NZ admitted solicitor with at least 2 - 4 years’ PQE
• Experience in civil and general litigation (employment experience also preferred but not essential)
• Excellent academic record
• Strong written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Passion for the law
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• A desire to mentor less experienced members of the team
