Position Purpose

This is a fantastic position for someone who wants to draw on their legal experience and develop their career in compliance within the financial services sector.

The role will see you providing verbal and written compliance advice to Strategi’s clients.

The Compliance Officer is responsible for several compliance-related functions. These include:

• Working with the CEO, Compliance and Consulting Manager, Executiv Director and others on compliance-related projects.
• Keeping abreast of changes to industry legislation, regulations, Codes and FMA Guidance Notes and ensuring clients are made aware of these, are trained on them and are incorporated into the client company policies and processes.
• Implementing and managing the compliance and best practice processes for selected Strategi clients. This involves both short term projects and ongoing account management of clients.
• Promotion of Strategi’s compliance and other services to existing and potential clients.

Ideal applicants will also have the following skills/attributes:

• Legal or compliance experience.
• Great attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be proactive and have good self/time management.
• Ability to work flexibly and in a professional services environment.
• Resilience when working in a fast-paced environment.
