Are you an experienced conveyancer looking to advance your career and work alongside a dynamic and growing team in Auckland? Core Legal is based in Masterton, Wairarapa but the brother to our firm, Norling Law (yes, Shannon Norling and Brent Norling are actually brothers) is moving to a new premises located on Corinthian Drive, Albany in February 2025. We intend to set up shop in the same premises and establish a new conveyancing service under a new brand. We are seeking expressions of interest from any qualified professionals to join us and take the lead under the new brand as a sole (but supported) operator in our new office.

We are offering a base salary and the opportunity to share in the profits after expenses. How good is that? For the right person, the opportunity is there to work hard and enjoy the rewards. Opportunities like this do not come around very often!

About the Role:

We are looking for a lawyer or a highly skilled legal executive to handle a diverse range of property transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conveyancing, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service. While you will be a part of the Core Legal provincial team, you will be based in Auckland in your own separate space alongside the Norling Law team – your own little corner of the world! With that in mind, if you are socially inclined you will be able to socialise with the high performance and entertaining team at Norling Law in the shared space.

Who are we looking for? Our ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified lawyer (preferred) or Registered Legal Executive with conveyancing experience and ability to certify LINZ edealings.
• Have strong networking skills to generate new work.
• Have a great work ethic and drive.
• Have a strong understanding of property law and transactions.
• Have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Be confident in their ability to work independently and as part of a team (albeit remotely).
• Have a good sense of humour and easy-going nature.
• Have a proactive approach to problem-solving and client management.
