Te Tūranga | About the role

This is a fixed term opportunity for 12 months working with our legal experts in the Commercial/Contracts, Governance, Privacy and Property Team. The role is an amazing opportunity for an experienced practitioner to discover work life balance and flexible working with a fun and supportive team. The role is a full-time position with the potential to negotiate part-time hours for the right person.

We are looking for a Commercial Contracts expert to provide specialist support and advice to relevant teams across Council. The role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your experience and be involved in key projects that will shape Tauranga City through a time of huge growth and development. You will be working on a range of new and exciting projects and play a key role in managing stakeholder relationships.

Ngā Pukenga | What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • Bachelor of Laws degree
  • 5+ years PQE
  • Proven experience in Commercial Contract law
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
