Pollett Legal is the office of the Crown Solicitor for Tauranga. The Crown Solicitor conducts Crown prosecutions in the Eastern and Western Bay of Plenty including; Tauranga, Whakatane, Opotiki and Waihi.

Pollett Legal has a rare opportunity available to Crown prosecutors or litigation lawyers to join our small, collegial team. The team prides themselves on excellence in the conduct of Crown prosecutions and the provision of legal services to the New Zealand Police and other government departments and agencies. We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in criminal litigation including the conduct of High and/or District Court Jury trials;
  • Takes pride in their work;
  • Is self-motivated and can work independently as well as contribute within our team;
  • Is resilient and able to relate well to all people within our diverse community;
  • Has excellent time management and organisation skills.

This is a role for a litigation lawyer who has at least 2 years PQE. We are open minded as to whether we employ junior, intermediate or senior solicitors.
